PURPOSE:To give profound feeling effectively without increasing the number of parts, etc. by laminating a layer of fluorescent agent on the back of a transparent glass through a masking layer, and making light diffusing processing on the display face opposite to the fluorescent layer. CONSTITUTION:A dial plate 1, a diffusing face 2, a glass 3, a masking layer 4 and a fluorescent layer 5, etc. are provided. When fluorescence is projected from the fluorescent layer 5 hidden by the masking layer 4 to the dial plate, the light is irregularly reflected on the diffusing face 2 and a part of it appears attenuating gradually toward the center of the dial plate 1 which is not covered by the masking layer 4. Accordingly, when the dial plate 1 is looked through the glass 3, ring-shaped light that becomes dim gradually from the edge of the masking layer 4 inward generates a kind of focus effect, and looks as if a gap is present between the glass 3 and dial plate 1, or looks as if the dial plate is rising up toward the center. Thus, it exhibits profound three-dimensional sensation. |
