PURPOSE:To enable very high speed printing by a method wherein a printing by a flying method is performed. CONSTITUTION:A driving pulley 1 and a driven pulley 2 are arranged at the predetermined space, and a type belt 3 of endless type on which outside many type parts are disposed in an array between said pulleys is stretched. A hammer holder 11 is attached slide free in the axis direction on a line feeding shaft 10, and a hammer, a line shift up paper feeding cam and a rack release lever etc. are contained and sustained in the hammer holder 11. Paper 16 is sent out from the lower part of a paper feeding roller 14 and a guide plate 15, and guided to the near outside of the printing type belt 3. A position detecting part 19 is provided near the driven pulley 2, and the reference position for the selection of type and the printing type position are detected. The basic operation are consist of a printing type selecting operation, a printing character line feeding operation, a hammer holder returning and a paper sending operation, and the printing of many lines is performed, these operations being retaliated sequential. |
