PURPOSE:To unnecessitate changes in the mounting position and the shape of the silencing device even when the shape of an atomizing chamber is changed by directly mounting a silencing plate having a water column passage hole and a water supply hole on a vibrator base. CONSTITUTION:A silencing plate 10 having a water column passage hole 11 and a water supply hole 12 is mounted on a vibrator base 7. By this construc tion, the water column passes through the hole 11 and rises up by a vibrator 2. Upon this occasion, since water drops sprayed from the water column, as they are unatomized, drop onto the surface of the silencing plate 10, and return to the surface of the water along the silencing plate, the water drop falling sound can be reduced. Hence, according to the construction, even when the shape change of the atomizing chamber and the atomizing tank exist, the mount ing position and the shape of the silencing device need not be changed. |
