PURPOSE:To stably control a step motor in a closed loop at a high speed by obtaining in advance the positional relationship between the balance point of the motor and a detecting point of a sensor. CONSTITUTION:A timer 6 for measuring the time from the excitation of an arbitrary exciting phase to the detection of a position detection signal by the control of a phase switch 1, and a sensor position calculator 7 for calculating a distance between a distance between the balance point of the exciting phase and the detecting point of the sensor by the measuring time of the timer 6 are provided. The positional relationship between the balance point obtained by the calculator 7 and the detecting point of the sensor is fed back to the closed loop control of the motor to correctly control the leading angle without driving direction, thereby controlling the step motor at a stable high speed. |
