The invention relates to a single-celled silo. A single-celled silo having a rectangular outline for bulk goods of low relative density is to be provided, and/or prefabricated compound units are to be provided for this purpose. According to the invention, the silo is composed of double-armed reinforced-concrete shaped parts, the arms of which extend from in each case one corner to the centre of the respective side lengths of the outline. The shaped parts may extend over part of, or over the entire height of, the silo. The shaped parts may also have a U-shaped outline. Using these prefabricated compound units, a silo can be assembled and dismantled relatively quickly and cost-effectively.
