<p>Medium is produced by adding consecutively to a container filled with distilled H2O, formulated amounts of NaCl, KCl MgSO4, CaCl2 sorbitol and with albumin hydrolysate at room temp. then after adding phenol red and making up with H2O, NaOH is added to adjust the pH value so that the weakly alkaline mixture obtained can be subjected to heat sterilisation at 121-124 degrees C without reactions occuring which lead to formation of metabolism inhibitors or to depression of pH into acid range.</p> |
