PURPOSE:To achieve the optimal igniting operation over the entire operating area by mounting plural ignition plugs on every cylinder and conducting three switching elements alternatively through conduction signals to be produced from trigger signal generating circuit with predetermined timing. CONSTITUTION:It is constructed such that the power circuit 18 (18a-18d) ar ranged on every cylinder is functioned together with common power circuits 20, 21 to perform switching operation for predetermined interval on the basis of trigger signal from trigger signal generating circuit 9 thus to function only two or four of four ignition plugs 241a-244a arranged on every cylinder. Each power circuit 18 is comprised of first primary coil 161a and first switching element 13a constructing a closed circuit together with a capacitor 4 and a battery 1. While common power circuits 20, 21 are comprised of second and third primary coils 162a, 163a and second, third switching elements 200, 210 constructing closed circuits together with the capacitor 4. |
