PURPOSE:To lower a signal voltage and enhance response characteristic, by ejecting an ink by an air flow and a potential difference between an electrode provided at a peripheral part of an air-ejection port and an electrode provided in an ink chamber adjacent to an ink-ejecting port. CONSTITUTION:An ink nozzle plate 14 is provided with an ink electrode 16 on the side of the ink chamber 10, and is provided with a conductive part 22 in the periphery of the ink-ejecting port 4 on the side of an air layer 7. When a signal is impressed, an ink in the port 4 is raised up in the manner of being stretched from the periphery of the conductive part 22, and a tip part thereof is torn off to fly. Accordingly, since the conductive part 22 disposed between the ink electrode 16 and an air nozzle electrode 12 has the function of reducing the spacing between the electrodes 16, 12, the response characteristic is enhanced, and the signal voltage can be lowered. |
