PURPOSE:To blast ice grains continuously by projecting the ice grains extracted from a continuous production process to an object to be burnished, such as a steel plate, etc. with the compressed air or high pressure water for burnishing and by recovering the used ice grains and melted water for reuse. CONSTITUTION:Ice grains produced in a continuous ice grain production device 1 producing ice grains by injecting water into an extremely low temperature liquid are fed to an ice grain projecting means 2, injected at a high speed from an injection nozzle 5, and projected to an object 12 to be burnished. The projected ice grains 9 give a shock to the surface of the object 12 together with their own weight and apply a friction force to burnish it and remove foreign objects. If the object to be burnished is a steel plate, etc. and is to be applied with the pretreatment for coating, a rust preventive solution is fed out from a rest preventive agent tank 7 with a pump 8, atomized by the compressed air, and coated to the surface of the object 12. Projected ice grains 9 and melted water as well as their cold heat are recovered in a receiving tank 10 together with foreign objects, which are separated in a water treatment device 13, and the remaining water is used as the raw material for ice grains. |
