PURPOSE:To depress papers without being damaged and therefore to make it possible to smoothly feed papers, by holding papers at both sides by means of belts in the stacking direction thereof so that the belts are made to travel to depress the papers, thereby the papers are allowed to pass through a gap one by one. CONSTITUTION:A belt 20 is stretched between pulleys 22, 22 supported to a support plate 21 at the front end of a guide plate 18, vertically extending with its entirety, and a leaf spring 23 attached to the guide plate 18, for pressing the belt is arranged in the inner peripheral section of the belt 20, thereby the belt 20 is pressed against the front side face of stacking papers 12. Further, a motor coupled to the pulley 22 drives the belt 20 which therefore, depresses the stacked papers 12 while the belt slips on one side end face of the papers 12. Accordingly, even if any one of the papers warps, the paper 12 is held between two belts 20, 20 at both sides o the paper and is therefore depressed. Then, the papers are fed out through a gap at the lower end of a stopper plate 14 by means of a belt conveyor 11, one by one from the lowest layer paper. With this arrangement the papers are fed out smoothly, a without the papers being damaged. |
