A seat support for work swivel chairs, consisting of the functional parts: basic body (3) with support (6) attached at the end, seat plate attachment (2) and backrest support (4), has a connecting member (7) which is assigned to the functional parts, is fixed to the backrest support (4) and can be moved on the basic body (3) by means of a connecting link guide (10, 11).
