The appts. has at least one silo (1) coupled to the number of filling and weighing points (2,3,4). Each of these has an electrical or electronic weight indicator (3) coupled to the central processor (7) receiving successive measured values according to a fixed operating programme, to provide output signals controlling the filling cycle. Pref. a monitor (5) is used for periodic interrogation of the obtd. wts. and is coupled to the processor (7) via an A/D converter (6). USE - For bagging loose material with elimination of zero errors and errors caused by differing material flow characteristics.
