PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to adjust the location of a locate sensor set on the runway of a media in order to facilitate unit manufacturing and to increase operationability by correcting the media locate operation with a switch set point. CONSTITUTION:While a switch 17 is operated to run a media 5 and the number of lines being fed is computed, a locate sensor 6 is seeked. When the locate sensor 6 is found, the number of lines fed up to that point is compared with the number of lines up to the correct installation position previously set in a memory 12, and the difference is decided and displayed on a displayer 13 as a switch set point. ''The displayed number is set in the switch 17. When the switch 17 is operated, the media 5 runs and feeds lines until it finds the locate sensor 6. When the media 5 finds the sensor 6, the number of lines of the switch set point is added to or subtracted from the number of lines fed up to that point, and the locate operation of the media 5 completes. |
