Immunogens, process for their preparation and antibodies against glycosylated haemoglobin obtained therewith

Immunogens of the general formula I <IMAGE> in which R<1> denotes hydrogen or an amino protective group, R denotes a single chemical bond, an amino acid radical or a peptide radical having 2 to 7 amino acid units, A denotes a single chemical bond or a bridge member and T denotes an immunogenic carrier are claimed. These immunogens are prepared by linking reactive fructose-peptide derivatives with an immunogenic carrier T, if appropriate with interposition of a bridge member A'. These immunogens are particularly suitable for the production of antibodies which are specifically directed against glycosylated haemoglobin. Such antibodies can be employed in particular for the immunological determination of glycosylated haemoglobin.
