PURPOSE:To eliminate mutual contact of armatures at their tips and to prevent erroneous action of a print wire and dislocation of the wire from the armatures by providing guide holes in the vicinities of the armature tips or on members facing the armatures; and protrusions on the members or in the vicinities of the armature tips. CONSTITUTION:The printing head is provided with armatures 4 to which a print wire 5 is connected at their tips and that are supported by side yorks 10 at their rear ends; and exciting coils 3 corresponding to respective armatures 4 in a circumferential direction. Each armature 4 is driven by each exciting coil 3 correspondingly to printing pattern signal, and the print wire 5 is designed to protrude. Further, in the above printing head, in order to control the actions of the armature 4 vertical to the printing direction, guide holes 15 in the vicinities of the armature 4 tips and protrusions 16 on members facing the armatures, for instance members such as bosses 17, are provided. Or protrusions on armature 4 tips and guide holes in bosses are provided. By the above method, mutual contact of adjacent armatures at their tips are precluded without failure. |
