Electrostatic material separator whereby a high direct voltage (9a) is deployed with ingoing electrodes inside the material separator (2) and where alternating voltage (17) is conferred to said direct voltage. The alternating voltage's (17) frequency is selected at or near a connection to a resonance frequency formed by an oscillating circuit whose capacitance value and/or inductive value (15) suits the material separator's (2) own value.
