PURPOSE:To select automatically dry cells from general refuses by combining a vibrating screen with a hanging magnetic separator and a permanent-magnet pulley. CONSTITUTION:The general refuses 1 contg. dry cells 12 are firstly treated by the vibrating screen 2 and only the refuses 4 which are not passed there- through an introduced into an incinerator and while conveying the passed refuse 3 cong. the dry cells 12 by a belt conveyer 5, the iron content is drawn up by the magnet separator 6 hung upward and the dry cells 12 are passed because these are weighty and the dry cells 12 are adsorbed by the permanent-magnet pulley 14 out of the refuses 9 consisting of the dry cells 12 and the nonmagnetic material 16. By this method, the dry cells are automatically selected, saving labor and at low cost. |
