In the case of the busbar distributor (1), a plurality of busbars (3) having identical or different cross-sections are arranged parallel and side by side on comb-like holders in a busbar box (2) having parallel longitudinal side walls (2a, 2b). The busbars (3) have an H-shaped cross-section and are held at equal distances from the two longitudinal side walls (2a, 2b) of the busbar box (2) by means of supporting or mounting webs (9) which engage in the H-slots (3a, 3b) of the busbars (3) from opposite sides. Busbars (3) having different cross-sections in each case have the same cross-sectional width in the direction of the centre web (3c) and the same web height (3e), so that only the limb height (3f) of the busbars (3) can be varied in accordance with the respective conductor cross-section without the position of the busbars (3) being in consequence changed in the busbar box (2) or with respect to the contact points of the outlet boxes which can be placed on to the busbar boxes (2) at the various outlet points. <IMAGE>
