PURPOSE:To eliminate any slip on a conveyor belt together with elimination of gaps and concaves possibly generated between the belt conveyors arranged in parallel with each other, by providing notches on the edges of end plate S inside the terminals of a conveyor belt and bringing rollers with small diameters arranged in said notches in contact with the inner face of the conveyor belt. CONSTITUTION:End plates 2 are installed inside the terminals of an endless conveyor belt 1, and notches 6 are formed on the edges of end plates 2. Roller 3 with small diameters are disposed inside the notches 6 with a penetrating shaft 7. The conveyor belt 1 is moved while its inner face is in contact with the rollers 3 and the radius of curvature being considerably large at the terminal area. Further, if the rollers 3 are supported by the end plates 2, bent conveyors can be arranged in series very closely to each other, thus eliminating generation of an y large gap or concave between them. |
