A cover (1) for placing over an electronic entertainment apparatus, such as a video recorder, cassette recorder or the like, of the front-loader or front/top-loader type, has a flap on the front and a moving cover part for the front/top region. In order that particularly convenient access to the front region and also to the front/top region as well as particularly convenient covering of these regions is possible with only a small amount of space being required in the vertical direction, the flap and the cover part are constructed as halves (3, 4) (which can be folded onto one another) of a folding flap (2) which is hinged at its rear edge (5) on the end of the front/top region on the lid of the cover (6), via 180 DEG hinges. <IMAGE>
