PURPOSE:To simplify a coordinate calculation formula and enable prevention of a false measurement, by, when a luminous line irradiated by a slit beam light onto a three-dimensional body is picked up by two cameras, and its shape is measured, orienting the optical axis of the cameras in parallel to the slit beam. CONSTITUTION:A slit beam 3 emitted from a linear light source unit 11 is irradiated onto a 3-dimensional article 90 and a luminous line originated by it is picked up by two cameras 10, 10' provided with 2-dimensional photographing elements 1, 1' arranged in LH and RH symmetry with a plane formed by the beam 3 as the plane of symmetry. A shape of a 3-dimensional article is measured by measurement of space coordinates of the luminous line form positions on these 2-dimensional image pick up elements respectively. Further, on this occasion, each camera 10 and 10' is arranged in such a way that each optical axis of the camera 10 and 10' is oriented in parallel to a symmetrical plane formed by the slit beam 3. |
