<p>PURPOSE:To improve a characteristic of ignition at a low temperature and extend a life of catalyst in a catalyst combustion type gas turbine ignition device by a method wherein the catalyst is composed by carrying alumina containing noble metal catalyst which is rapidly cooled on a heat-resistant carrier. CONSTITUTION:Rare metals such as Y, Ce, La, Nd, Sm, Gd and others is included as an alloy in a precision metal catalyst in which a rapid cooling treatment is applied and its heat-resistant characteristic is improved, thereby a catalyst 8 is formed. In this case, a ratio between the noble metal and the rare earth metal is made as a specified proportion ratio between the noble metal and the rare earth metal such as Pd3Gd is made 3/1 as much as possible. with this arrangement,it is possible to extend the life of catalyst and improve a characteristic of ignition at a low temperature.</p> |
