PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which generates efficiently chlorine and prevents trouble by the constitution consisting in detecting the decrease in the current between electrodes for the purpose of electrolyzing the sea water in electrolytic cells, feeding automatically balls to the electrolytic cell and removing hydrogen and scale. CONSTITUTION:This electrical chlorine generator consists in feeding the sea water takes in through a sea water intake port 7 by a pump 8 to the electrolytic cells 9, 9-, electrolyzing the same by the current from a transformer 10 and supplying the NaOCl from which hydrogen is removed in a hydrogen separator 11 via a ball catcher 37 to a sea water system apparatus consisting of an intake port 1 for cooling water of the sea watere, a dam board 2, a bar screen 3, a travel screen 4, a circulating pump 5 and circulating water piping 6, etc. via water feed pipes 12, 13. In said generator the current between the electrodes of the above-mentioned cell 9 is detected with an ammeter and the decrease in the current is detected. The above-mentioned catcher 37, ball circulating pump 33, ball recovering device 34, etc. are operated by a control system consisting of a transformer 30, a relay control panel 31 and a motor control panel 32, by which the balls 36 are circulated and fed into the cell 9. |
