<p>A method and kit for repairing in situ a utility pole, especially a wooden one, when damaged at around ground level uses a sleeve (4) to surround a substantial length of the pole (1) and a non-shrink hardenabie pourable composition to occupy a clearance between the sleeve (4) and the pole (1) and form a solid core (7) bonded to both of them. so as to yield a very strong assembly. Preferably the skeve (4) is of two identical perts (6) clipped together round the pole, and the composition is a magnesium phosphate cement.</p> |
