PURPOSE:To make it possible to objectively judge the measuring acuracy of bodily temp., by displaying a measuring time along with measured bodily temp. by providing a timing means for counting the time from the start of the measurement of bodily temp. to the finish thereof. CONSTITUTION:In an electronic clinical thermometer 1 for holding the peak value of temp. measured by a temp. sensor 4 and displaying the same on the temp. display part 5a of a display device 5 as bodily temp., a means for detecting the measuring start point of time of bodily temp., a means for detecting the measuring finish point of time of bodily temp. and a timing means for counting the time between both points of time are provided. A measuring time display part 5b is provided to the display device 5 and the measuring time counted by the timing means is displayed on the measuring time display part 5b simultaneously with the display of bodily temp. By this method, the judgement of re-measurement can be immediately performed according to the degree of the measuring time. |
