发明名称 INK SHEET FEEDER MECHANISM
摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate a sag or a fluctuating tension of ink sheet and improve print quality by rotating a drive roller and a platen synchronously, making the external diameter of the drive roller larger than that of the platen and pressing a tension roller against the ink sheet. CONSTITUTION:A drive roller 14 and a platen 18 are caused to have the same number of rotations by synchronizing an ink sheet drive motor 17 to a platen drive motor 26 during thermotransfer recording. In addition, the drive roller 14 is caused to have a slightly larger external diameter than the platen 18. A tension roller 30 is pressed against an ink sheet 10 between a separation block (S) and the drive roller 14. If the mechanism is started for thermotransfer recording, the drive roller 14 feeds more ink sheet than the platen does, so that a sag of ink sheet 10 between the separation block (S) and the drive roller 14 is gradually reduced. As a result, the sag is eliminated and transfer separation due to defects of transfer ink sheet prevented, thus improving print quality.
