PURPOSE:Grains of glutinous rice or formed grains from glutinous rice flour or the like are swollen and restored with hot water, then vibrated or kneaded to obtain rice cake which is uniformly restored and has good toughness and elasticity unique to rice cake. CONSTITUTION:Grains of glutinous rice or formed grains from glutinous rice flour are swollen and placed in a cup. Hot water is poured into the cup containing swollen grains 2, then discarded immediately. The cup is stood up side and down, then vibrated or kneaded to give the objective instant rice cake. EFFECT:Light vibration gives OHAGI (rice dumpling covered with bean jam) and heavy vibration or kneading give rice cake just like pounded with a pestle. |
