PURPOSE:To protect other loads by detecting the short of a certain load and controlling a driving means for other loads related to the short-circuited load to execute proper processing such as the stop of the operation of other loads. CONSTITUTION:An I/D controller 13 is connected to a point A between a resistor 11 and an alarm contact 8 through an LED9 by a signal line 12. When the potential of the point A coincides with the earth potential, a detecting signal indicating the generation of load short-circuit is outputted to a CPU16 which is a control means through a signal line 14. When the load short-circuit is generated in an output unit 4, the alarm contact 8 is closed, the potential of the point A is turned to the earth potential and the detecting signal is outputted from the I/D controller 13 to the CPU16. Consequently, the CPU16 outputs a control signal to the driving means 17 for driving other loads related to the short-circuited load 2 to adopt processing such as the stop of operation and deceleration of the operating speed. |
