<p>PURPOSE:To use the titled equipment without a problem both for on-vehicle and portable type by setting automatically lighting placing emphasis on the operability when a portable mobile radio equipment is used as on-vehicle and lighting placing emphasis on electric power consumption when the equipment is used as the portable type. CONSTITUTION:The connector 6 of the portable mobile radio equipment main body 1 is connected to a connector 7 when it is used as an on-vehicle equipment and connected to a connector 8 when the equipment is used as a portable equipment respectively. Terminals a, b of the connectors 7, 8 are connected respectively to an antenna system and a battery, the terminal (a) of the connector 6 is connected to an amplifier via a filter, the terminal (b) is connector 6 is connected to an amplifier via a filter, the terminal (b) is connected to a power supply, a terminal (c) is connected to ground and a terminal (d) is connected to the terminal P1 of a control circuit 14. When the connector 6 is connected to the connector 7 for on-vehicle application, the terminal (d) is grounded, the terminal P1 of the circuit 14 detects a ground potential and a lighting lamp 16 is lighted via a drive circuit 15. The external lightness is detected by a photodetection circuit 17, and when it is lighter than a prescribed value, the lamp 16 is turned off. When the connector 6 is connected to the connector 8 as portable application, since the terminal (d) is opened, the terminal P1 does not detect a ground potential, the lamp 16 is turned off to reduce power consumption.</p> |
