PURPOSE:To appropriately carry out afterheat in accordance with the amount of intake-air, by providing an electrical circuit change-over means for selectively connecting an intake-air heater and an energization controlling PCT heater to an electrical circuit. CONSTITUTION:An intake-air heating electrical heater 3 is disposed in an intake- air passage 8, and an energization controlling PCT heater 10 is disposed in a part onto which air from a cooling fan 9 is blown. A metal wire heater 6 and the PCT heater 10 are selectively fed with current from a battery source 11 in accordance with the opening and closing of a first electrical switch 12. A control device 16 controls the current value of the intake-air heating electrical heater 3 in accordance with the rotational speed of an engine. With this arrangement an appropriate afterheat may be carried out in accordance with the amount of intake-air. |
