PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a drive power supply system by disposing magnetic movable units through an air gap on a magnetic stationary unit so that opposite electrodes are opposed and making a current flow through a winding coil. CONSTITUTION:A linear actuator has a lower stationary yoke 32, a pair of permanent magnets 33 secured onto the yoke, a support plate 35, and a flat winding coil 34 secured onto the magnets 33 to form a magnetic stationary unit 31. A magnetic movable unit 35 in which a pair of permanent magnets 38 are secured to an upper movable yoke 37 is secured through a pair of roller bearing guides 39 on the unit 31 to form a magnetic circuit. Further, movable position detectors 40, 41 of the unit 36 are further provided. When the prescribed current is made to flow through the coil 34, the unit 36 on the unit 31 rectilinearly moves in a direction of an arrow X in the state that the prescribed pressure is applied in advance by magnetic attraction forces therebetween. |
