<p>Ferrimagnetic oxyfluoride spinels of general formulae AaFe O4-xFx, AaBbFeyO4-xFx and AaBbCcFeyO4-xFx (where a+b+c+y=3 and 2a+2b+2c+ 3y=2(4-x)+x have higher resistivity than the corresponding oxides. A,B and C can be Mg, V, Cr, Mn, Fe Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Pd or Cd. A can also be Li. The materials have high resistivities and low loss at high frequencies and are useful for magnetic stores.</p> |
