PURPOSE:To restrain the occurrence of damages such as scuffing or the like by providing a metallic block formed by sintered metal material, the base material of which is iron, and containing carbon fiber to be compound at least in the contact portion with a V-pulley. CONSTITUTION:A metallic block 16 is formed by sintering a sintering material composed of 1-10wt% of Ti, 5-20wt% of Cr and the residual part of steel materials. Further, 10 capacity % of carbon fiber is contained in side end portions 28 which are contact portions with V-pulleys 10, 11. Accordingly, when the side end portions 28 of the metallic block 16, that is, the contact portions with the V-pulleys 10, 11 start to wear away, interposed between the metallic block 16 and the V-pulleys 10, 11. Thus, the metallic block 16 and the V-pulleys 10, 11 are restrained from directly rubbing each other by action of the carbon fiber. |
