PURPOSE:To obtain the front cover mount structure of a printer having simple constitution and easy to assemble and detach, by allowing a front cover to have elasticity such that the front cover deforms to the outside of a bracket at the time of assembling and returns to the original position after a shaft is inserted in the hole of the front cover. CONSTITUTION:The base body 22 of an electronic typewriter 21 is covered with a top cover 23 and a front cover 24 is attached to the top cover 23 in a freely rotatable manner so as to cover a printing mechanism part. This front cover 24 is formed on an acrylic resin or styrol and has predetermined elasticity. Further, a transparent cover 25 is attached to the top cover 23 in a freely rotatable manner so as to be capable of seeing a printed part through said cover 25. An eraser table 26 performing the correction of a recorded and printed character is attached to the top cover 25 in a freely rotatable manner. Because the front cover 24 has elasticity as mentioned above, it returns to the original shape even if it is deformed outwardly. |
