The invention relates to a method and a device for the dry ventilation of vehicle cabs, in particular for electric vehicles. Electric cars can only be equipped with heating and air-conditioning systems with great difficulty because the energy requirement of such systems is too large for the batteries supplying the drive energy. In order to permit predried and heated air to be used effectively for ventilating the cab, it is proposed according to the invention to feed the sucked-in ventilation air to the cab (1) of the vehicle via bed filters (2), the bed filters (2) being preferably arranged in the area next to the batteries and/or behind the backrests and/or under the bench seats and being provided with ventilator (4) and heating arrangements (5), the ventilation air during driving being heated by an electric heater preferably to temperatures below 30 DEG C and, for the drying of the bed filter materials during the charging of the battery, the ventilator (4) driving out, in reverse mode, the moisture from the bed filter (2) through the passenger compartment of the vehicle into the outgoing channel outside the vehicle by means of heated air, preferably above 30 DEG C. <IMAGE>
