The hockey stick (10) has a short head (13) whose free end (21) is curved relative to its shank portion (20). This curve extends over approximately 180 deg. such that its inner edge (22) is at a short distance (a) from this shank portion. The mean distance (a) between the edge (22) and the shank portion (20) is pref. around half the largest diameter (D) of the curved head. The rounded rear face of the curved head may have a club-shaped contour between its uppermost end (25) and its lowermost edge. This lowermost edge may be semi-circular. The head may be formed from superimposed layers of bent wood glued together with their mutual contact faces at right angles to the flat front face of the head. FL.
|
