<p>The windscreen-wiper mechanism comprises three coaxial shafts rotatably mounted on a frame, two of which drive one windscreen-wiper arm each and undergo the same reciprocating rotational movement. The extension retraction movement of one wiper blade w.r.t the corresponding arm is controlled by the third shaft which undergoes reciprocating movement of the same frequency as the two other shafts but in the opposite direction. The drive mechanism comprises three rods each connected to one of the coaxial shafts. One of the rods is directly coupled to a main bar and to each of the other rods, the main bar being driven by a motor via an auxiliary linkage.</p> |
