ELECTRIC FIELD DETECTION APPARATUS

摘要

An electric field detector using a polarized laser beam measures the phase difference of two crystal oscillators in response to field strength. An electric field detection member(10) includes a pokel's cell made by cutting a quartz crystal in a direction that avoids piezo-electric phenomena. The polarization laser beam phase angle from the light source(9) is changed by the pokel's cell. The light possing from the pokel's cell to the analyzer(5) is dependent upon the electric field.
