PURPOSE:To automate the focusing of a camera part by discriminating whether a focus is focused correctly on a photocathode or not. CONSTITUTION:A target image is formed on a photocathode 13 by a light which reaches an image dissector tube 12 through a lens system 11 from a target 1. When focusing the target manually, it is executed by an operator's vision by using a viewer which has a half mirror 21 and moves up and down. A motor 23 for moving the image dissector tube forward and backward is provided, focusing is executed automatically in accordance with a detecting signal, a diaphragm 25 for executing a switching control by a motor 24 is provided, and a change of an incident state of the target image can be executed very easily by a switching control of the diaphragm 25. An automatic focusing such as an adjustment, etc. of a lens system is executed by a corresponding control signal of an output of the image dissector tube by the change of the incident state of the target image. |
