PURPOSE:To always enable a cooling fan to be driven by a constant rotational frequency, by driving the cooling fan via rotational transmission mechanism for transmitting the rotation of a motor and varying the transmissibility of the transmission mechanism in inverse proportion to the rotational frequency of the motor. CONSTITUTION:A cooling fan 3 is set at the end of a variable speed motor 1. The motor shaft 2 for the variable speed motor 1 is provided with a weight 14, and a centrifugal force apparatus for generating a centrifugal force according to the rotational frequency of the motor is formed, and a rotational transmission mechanism for varying the transmissibility of the rotational frequency is connected to the cooling fan 3, and a rotational force is arranged to be transmitted to the cooling fan 3 by an interlocking mechanism wherein the rotational transmissibility of the rotational transmission mechanism gets larger as the centrifugal force of the centrifugal force apparatus gets smaller. The interlocking mechanism and the rotational transmission mechanism may be formed with a shifting disc 9 and a disc 6. In this manner, an exclusive motor for the cooling fan 3 is not needed. |
