PURPOSE:To rigidly fix a wedge without increasing the number of steps and decreasing the insulating property by inserting the wedge into the slot in the state that a coil insulating layer is compressed by 10-20%, and immersing resin with the layer in this state. CONSTITUTION:A coil 2 having an insulating layer 4 is inserted into the slot of a core 1, and a wedge 3 is inserted with regulating spacers 5a-5c so as to compress the layer 4 in a range of 10-20% in the coil height direction. The entire core 1 is dipped in an insulating resin in this state, and the layer 4 is immersed with resin and th wedge 3 is fixed. Thus, improper hitting sound, the production of unimmersed portion, the decrease in a BDV can be improved to obtain a rotary electric machine having high reliability. |
