PURPOSE:To remove efficiently air bubbles present on the outer surface part of a rice cake, by filling a mold with a just pounded rice cake, shutting the mold with a bottom lid perforated at the center, and gathering the gas in the mold to the longitudinal axis part with the centrifugal action. CONSTITUTION:A mold 1 having an opened bottom is filled with just pounded rice cake, and the opening is shut with a bottom lid 3 having a hole 15 in the central part thereof to rotate both around the longitudinal axis of the mold 1. Gas in the mold 1 is gathered in the longitudinal axis part of the mold 1 by the centrifugal action, and the mold 1 is allowed to stand with the bottom up to cool and solidify the rice cake therein. |
