PURPOSE:To aim at the stable combustion of an engine, by opening a pressure regulating inner valve installed in the same valve box as a flow regulating inner valve and thereby making gas quantity and pressure both suppliable, in case of a gas engine. CONSTITUTION:Usually, a flow regulating inner valve (a) is controlled for its opening by an actuator being controlled in conformity with an output signal out of an oxygen sensor via a valve stem. On the other other hand, a pressure regulating inner valve (b) is closed against a spring 16 because the same pressure as pressure at the secondary side acts on a diaphragm 15 via an interconnecting hole 17. Under this condition, when the secondary side pressure is suddenly dropped by engine load, the pressure dropped acts on the diaphragm 15 via the interconnecting hole 17 whereby the diaphragm 15 is pressed by the spring 16, and the pressure regulating inner valve (b) is opened via a valve stem. With this constitution, a supply for gas quantity and pressure takes place, thus the stable combustion of an engine is well secured. |
