PURPOSE:To make it possible to manage tools even in the automatic operation of a machining center by providing both an automatic tool changer and a manual tool changer to a tool change station for taking tool out from a tool magazine. CONSTITUTION:Tools used by a machining center 3 are stored in a tool magazine 4 and are properly used being taken out from the magazine 4 and being chucked to a spindle 5, and when tools not stored in the tool magazine are required to be used, they are taken out from a rotary tool rack, are stored in the tool magazine 4, and then are used. A tool change station is composed of a tool changer 8 at the side of the tool rack, traverse type tool supply and take-out unit 9, and swivel station 10, and two systems of this tool change station are arranged. A workpiece machining equipment is composed of the machining center 3, a tool supply and take-out unit 11, and a tool changer 12, and a tool carrying equipment 7 is composed of a self-propelling truck 13, the tool magazine 14, and a guide way 15. A tool inspection room is equipped with custody shelves 17, benches 18, etc. |
