摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To make wear compensation so that the groove processing accuracy lies always within allowable error range by previously setting the amount and time for compensating the wear of a grinding wheel on the basis of the relationship of the length of processed groove to the wear amount of the wheel, obtained as a result of experiments or from experience. CONSTITUTION:The axis position of a grinding wheel is, after groove processing (d) for the first street of the street group P1, raised to the position immediately before the groove processing, and upon indexing (e) is sunk to perform groove processing for the second street, wherein the sunk position shall be the same as in the groove processing for the first street. Afterward the grinding wheel is moved vertically in the same manner, and after the last street, i.e. No.25 street, of the street group P1 is groove-processed, the center of gravity of the wheel is sunk by an extra amount of DELTAZ=5mum for starting the groove processing for No.26 street, i.e. the first in the street group P2. This is wear compensation. That is, compensation is made with the number of grooves and means wear amount, so that all grooves can be processed with an accuracy within allowable error range.</p>
