PURPOSE:To form a resin for protecting a semiconductor element which does not ooze out onto a substrate and does not cover part or all of a terminal when coating the resin on the substrate having ultrafine irregular surface of an ITO by specifying the molecular weight of an epoxy resin as the resin for protecting the element. CONSTITUTION:A resin for protecting a semiconductor element has 1,400 or larger of molecular weight. Thus, oozing out of the resin onto a substrate having an irregular surface by a capillary tube phenomenon can be suppressed, and even if the element can be reduced to narrow the terminal made of an ITO, improper contact does not occur. |
