PURPOSE:To provide solar cell itself with an energy accumulating function while forming a solar cell, which can be constituted at low cost, by shaping an I type layer in the PIN type solar cell while being extended to the outside of the solar cell section and forming a capacitor giving the energy accumulating function in an integral shape with a generating function. CONSTITUTION:An I type amorphous silicon film 4 coats a P type (or an N type) amorphous silicon film 3, and is extended and formed up to an electrode 2b section, and an N type (or a P type) amorphous silicon film 5 corresponds to an electrode 2a section, and is shaped onto the I type amorphous silicon film 4. Other electrodes 6a, 6b are formed onto the N type (or the P type) amorphous silicon film 5 and the I type amorphous silicon film 4 respectively while corresponding to the electrodes 2a, 2b. That is, left half in the figure constitutes an amorphous solar cell, and the I type amorphous silicon film 4 is shaped to the right, thus shaping a capacitor for providing a generating function with an energy accumulating function. |
