<p>PURPOSE:To allow a running body to guide itself and run smoothly along a set course without any driver by providing a function which allows a run under vehicle program control, function which receives and displays information during the run and stores and discriminated it, and function which run the vehicle with a joy stick. CONSTITUTION:Vehicle facilities 10 are a control system which is mounted on the vehicle 100 and allows the vehicle to run along the set course without any driver. This system is equipped with a main control means 13 to which on-vehicle radio equipment 11 for communicating with ground-side radio equipment 2 and an obstacle searching device 12 are connected, servo system control means 14 which is controlled by the main control means 13 synthetically, vehicle position means 15, and various sensors 24-37. The servo system control means 14 includes means 16-24 for controlling the steering, speed lack of an engine fuel control system, governor, brake, retarder, vessel, transmission, and parking brake of the vehicle.</p> |
