摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce oil scattering and bearing loss, by installing a rolling layer which bears thrust force in a way of supporting an outer ring of an oil disc at the stationary side, while rotates at slower speed than a rotary shaft between the outer ring and the rotary shaft and gets its lower part impregnated in lubricating oil. CONSTITUTION:With rotation of a rotary shaft 7, an inner ring 11 of an oil disc 8 rotates at the same speed. A rolling element 14 revolves at slower speed than the rotary shaft 7 on a track as rotating. With revolution of the rolling element 14, a cage 15 installed in the former also revolves at the same speed, and a rolling layer 12 consisting of the rolling element 14 and the cage 15 gets its lower part impregnated in lubricating oil OL so that it scoops the oil at lower revolving speed than the rotary shaft 7. A self-cooling possible range of a bearing whose scooped oil is restained from scattering is extended wider into a high speed range. Since the rolling layer 12 is able to transmit thrust force, the thrust force is supportable between an outer ring 13 and a bearing box so that this thrust force becomes rolling friction being small in a friction loss, thus a mechanical loss is reduced.
