1-Pyridyl- and 1-pyrazinyl-1-alkoxy-2-arylethenes, process for their preparation and their use in fungicidal agents

The novel 1-pyridyl- and 1-pyrazinyl-1-alkoxy-2-arylethenes are included under the general formula <IMAGE> in which the symbols essentially have the following meaning: X = N or CH; R = H, alkyl, haloalkyl, cycloalkyl or optionally substituted phenyl; p = 0, 1, 2 or 3; Ar = naphthyl or optionally substituted furyl, thienyl, pyridyl or phenyl; and Y = hydrogen or an organic radical. A process for the preparation of these compounds and fungicidal compositions having an effective content of at least one compound of the above general formula are furthermore described.
